UK | Invitation to participate in a survey for the OPRAS project

The Northern Ireland Public Services Ombudsman and Professor Chris Gill (University of Glasgow) are conducting a joint research project examining the role of ombudspersons in the protection of refugees and asylum seekers (the OPRAS project).

As part of this research, they are conducting a survey of the international ombudsperson community in order to understand the work of ombudspersons in this area and to identify good practice.

Their aim is for the research to provide findings that will be relevant and useful to ombudspersons around the world, as well as inform the Northern Ireland Public Services Ombudsman’s work in supporting refugees and asylum seekers.

They would be very grateful if you were willing to take part in this research. Completing the survey should take around 30 to 40 minutes. The survey may be completed in either English, French or Spanish. The survey can be accessed here.

They very much appreciate your assistance with this research. If you have any questions about taking part, please contact Chris Gill at chris.gill@glasgow.ac.uk.
