Agriculture Government of Sindh pays cost differential to complainant
The complainant approached Provincial Ombudsman Sindh Mr. Asad Ashraf Malik with the issue that Agriculture Department awarded contract to his firm for construction of road for improvement of Cane Yard. The construction work was carried out as per Public Works Department rules with clear provision that in case of cost escalation the differential would be borne the department but the Agriculture Department refused.

Since Canada passed the Pension Act in 1919 – its first major legislation to support Veterans – every 20 years or so a review of Veterans’ benefits is conducted because Veterans’ needs change. Veterans Ombudsman releases status update on recommendations
The Veterans Ombudsman has posted a status update on all the recommendations made by the Office since its inception. To date, it has made 57 recommendations and, of these, the Government has fully or partially implemented 37, leaving 20 still to be addressed.
