LITHUANIA | Annual report 2011

According to the Law on Seimas Ombudsmen, the Seimas Ombudsmen every year submit an Annual Report to the Parliament for the preceding calendar year. The Report is considered in the Parliament. This year the institution has received more than 1,800 complaints, or 43% exceeding that received in 2010. At the time of the drafting of the present Report, 94% of the recommendations provided by the Seimas Ombudsmen were reported to have been taken into account.
