IOI Annual Report 2023/2024 available in all three IOI languages
The membership year 2023/2024 was marked by the 13th IOI World Conference, which was held in The Hague in May 2024 and hosted by the Office of the Dutch Ombudsman. After the years of the pandemic, it was the first time in eight years that IOI members from all six world regions came together again in person to learn from each other’s experiences, renew partnerships and return home with new ideas and practices.
In this past membership year, the IOI was also able to welcome new members and to continue its annual program of regional subsidies, through which the IOI funds projects from members in the various regions. The IOI intensified its efforts to forge closer ties with the United Nations and continued its fruitful cooperation with partner organizations in the regions.
The IOI Annual Report 2023/2024 provides an opportunity to learn more about the IOI’s work, services and achievements in this past year. New projects lie ahead of us and the IOI Board of Directors together with the IOI General Secretariat will work with renewed vigour in the year to come.
