HUNGARY | Commissioner for Fundamental Rights gives talk at national minorities conference

The Faculty of Pedagogy of Gál Ferenc University organised its 11th national minorities conference entitled “National Minority Education: Options and Solutions in an International Context” in Szarvas, Hungary on 17 April 2024.

The conference was opened by the patron of the conference, Bishop of Szeged-Csanád Diocese Dr. László Kiss-Rigó, then an opening speech was given by Commissioner for Fundamental Rights, Dr. Ákos Kozma. 

At the conference, an inaugural address was delivered, among others, by Rector of Gál Ferenc University Prof. Dr. László Dux, Consul General of Romania in the City of Gyula Mr. Daniel Banu, Romanian Nationality Advocate Mr. Traian Cresta, Slovakian Nationality Advocate Mr. Antal Paulik and Mayor of the City of Szarvas Mr. Mihály Babák.
