BackAs Chair of the Committee on Petitions, Member of Parliament Andreas Kugler, on 26 May 2011 presented the report on the activities of the Committee in 2010 to the Plenary.
For the first time it was published as a leaflet, wherein the Committee reports on its daily work an presents individual cases. Problems with Job Centres, the duration of proceedures for accomodation allowances, the use of Bebelplatz in accordance with requirements of historic preservation and justice affaires, thereby, constituted the focal points.
In Berlin, everyone can address themselves to the Committee on Petitions, which deals with complaints about authorities, institutions and public servants of the Land Berlin.
