On 20 October 2021, the Commonwealth Ombudsman’s 2020–21 Annual Report was tabled in Australian Parliament.
The report provides an overview of the 2020–21 financial year for the Office, detailing the performance of the Office’s core work against established criteria, including work with our international colleagues. The report also looks at the Office’s specialised domestic functions including overseeing the Public Interest Disclosure Scheme and the Office’s roles as the Ombudsman for the Defence Force, Postal Industry, Overseas Students, Private Health Insurance and VET Student Loans.
