IRAN | General Inspection Organization has new President

H.E. Justice Hassan Darvishian has been elected as the new President of the General Inspection Organization (GIO) of Iran. He succeeds H.E. Justice Naser Seraj, who held the position in the previous years.

H.E. Justice Hassan Darvishian has a Ph.D. in Islamic Law and an M.A. in Criminal Law and Criminology.

Before assuming the position of President of the General Inspection Organization (GIO), he served as President of the Second District of General Inspection Organization, Deputy of General Inspection Organization of Cultural and Social Affairs and Director General of Inspection Organization in the following provinces: Kerman, Yazd, and Khorasan.
