In Memory of Nora Salomons

In 1987 Nora Salomons became the first Municipal Ombudsman of Amsterdam. She has laid the foundation of the institute and performed her task in a strong and convincing way. ‘Nora’ became a phenomenon for authorities and for citizens. From her social democratic background, she fiercely fought injustice and maladministration. We will remember Nora’s striking personality and dedication.
