Caribbean | IOI expresses solidarity with victims of Hurricane Irma

On behalf of the IOI community, IOI President Peter Tyndall and IOI Secretary General Günther Kräuter issued a statement of solidarity to the Caribbean Ombudsman Association and the Ombudsman offices of Sint Maarten, Antigua & Barbuda, Puerto Rico as well as the British Virgin Islands in particular.

In this statement the IOI extends its heartfelt condolences to those suffering in the wake of this natural disaster and expresses its solidarity with the Caribbean people.

On behalf of the IOI community, our deep sympathy goes out the people who have lost their homes and the families of the victims of this hurricane. The IOI stands with them in these difficult times and assures its members in the Caribbean of its continued support.
