IOI | IOI President meets the President of the Republic of Slovenia

IOI President Chris Field PSM, had the honour of meeting the President of the Republic of Slovenia, Dr Nataša Pirc Musar, at the Presidential Palace, on the occasion of his official visit to Slovenia. Her Excellency, the first woman to hold the office of President, has a deeply impressive background. President Musar and President Field had a highly positive meeting regarding the work that must be done to protect human rights and act on climate change, among other important matters. Her Excellency was exceptionally gracious to make time to meet with President Field given her very busy schedule. “My meeting with the President was an important part of my official visit to Slovenia following a very kind invitation from my friend, and deeply respected colleague, Peter Svetina, Director of the World Board of the IOI and Human Rights Ombudsman of the Republic of Slovenia” said President Field.
