BackIt was a pleasure and a privilege for President Chris Field PSM to record a welcome message for the 10th Board of Directors meeting of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation Ombudsman Association (OICOA), hosted by the Forum of Pakistan Ombudsman.
“There are so many deeply admired colleagues, and wonderful friends of mine, who will gather in Islamabad on 29 and 30 January 2024 for this meeting. Over the last 12 months, it has been an extraordinary honour for me as President to have accepted the very kind invitations extended to me to visit the Mediator of the Kingdom of Morocco; the Ombudsman of the Kingdom of Bahrain; and the Ombudsman of the Sindh Province of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. In 2024, I will continue to make the members of the OICOA a very high priority, consistent with my desire that there be close collaboration and cooperation between the IOI and the OICOA” said President Field.
President Field told the Board of Directors: “A 10th anniversary is a particular auspicious occasion. It is a time for the OICOA to reflect on what has been achieved and a time to plan for the years ahead. For me, it is a time to express my gratitude. I thank the members of the OICOA for the extraordinary warmth in which they have embraced me as President of the IOI. I thank them for the work they do for the citizens of their States and Nations. I particularly thank them for their commitment to the truly great peoples of the Muslim world. Inshallah, I will see all of them in person again soon.”
