BackSeveral applications for Voting membership have been accepted by the IOI Board of Directors at its last annual meeting held in Namibia in September 2015.
The positive decisions regarding the applications are based on the facts that all of the new Voting members fulfill the criteria for institutional membership set out in Article 6 of the IOI By-laws. This regards the establishment of the institution, its independence, its mandate and powers as well as the requirements regarding the appointment and dismissal of the incumbent. In addition, the information they provided clearly showed that the all support the purposes and principles of the IOI as outlined in Article 2 of the IOI By-laws.
