armenia | Kristinne Grigoryan elected as new Human Rights Defender of Armenia

On January 24, 2022, Ms. Kristinne Grigoryan was elected as the Human Rights Defender of Armenia by the RA National Assembly and started performing her duties on February 25, 2022, in accordance with the RA Constitution and the Constitutional Law on the Human Rights Defender.

The former Human Rights Defender of Armenia, Mr. Arman Tatoyan, was elected by the National Assembly for a period of 6 years in February 2016. After holding the post of Human Rights Defender for 6 years, his term in office ended on February 24, 2022.
