IOI | Memorandum of Understanding signed between the IOI and the AOMF

IOI Board member Ms Catherine De Bruecker attended a conference of the Association of Ombudsman and Mediators of the Francophonie (AOMF) in Monaco. Ms De Bruecker and AOMF President Marc Bertrand took the occasion of this event to signed a Memorandum of Understanding between the two organizations on 20 October 2016.

Over the last years the IOI has sought to strengthen the cooperation with the AOMF in order to create a cooperative relationship and to make use of synergies. Therefore IOI Board member Catherine De Bruecker took the opportunity during the conference in Monaco and signed such a Memorandum of Understanding on behalf of the IOI.

By signing this Memorandum of Understanding both organizations strive to establish a mutually advantageous and cooperative relationship, with a view to sharing best practices in the field of control of public administration and protection of human rights.

The Association of Ombudsman and Mediators of the Francophonie is a professional association, which has the goal to promote the role of the ombudsman across french speaking countries.
