Germany | New Chair of the Schleswig-Holstein Parliament Petitions Committee

Katja Rathje-Hoffmann was nominated Chairperson of the incoming Parliament Petitions Committee of Schleswig-Holstein and will replace the previous chair holder Detlef Buder.

Ms. Rathje-Hoffmann started her political career as a member of the German Christian Democrat Party (CDU). Together with deputy chairman Jens-Uwe Dankert, she will preside the Parliament Petitions Committee with its 13 members, which is responsible for the processing of complaints filed to the Schleswig-Holstein Parliament.
