JORDAN | New Chairperson appointed

A Royal Decree was issued on 5 March 2019 appointing HE Muhannad Hijazi as Chairman of the Integrity and Anti-corruption Commission to succeed HE Mohammed Al Allaf.

The retired judge, Major General Muhannad Hijazi served as Director of Military Justice and the Attorney General of the State Security Court.

He also served as a prosecutor for the State Security Court and defended a large number of security and economic issues. He served in several military courts, the last of which was the President of the Military Appeals Court.
