On 30 July 2010, Prof. Italo Tanoni was appointed as the new Regional Ombudsman by the President of the Regional Assembly of Marche.
Prof. Tanoni has been a technical inspector, journalist, and professor at the University of Urbino and is the author of many publications in sociology and education. He replaces the previous Ombudsman Mr. Samuele Animali.
