Dr. Kozma hands over donations to charity organizations helping refugees fleeing Ukraine
In his current newsletter editions, the Hungarian Commissioner for Fundamental Rights, Dr. Ákos Kozma, focuses on the war in the Ukraine and he calls for solidarity and the protection of human rights.
The team of the Office of the Commissioner for Fundamental Rights (OCFR) is continually working on providing direct human and legal aid to as many people as possible. Therefore Commissioner Kozma exchanged views with authorities involved in providing support for the fleeing people and with the Regional President of the IOI Europe and Greek Ombudsman Andreas Pottakis.
The OCFR, which is also the UN accredited national human rights institution, will temporarily open regional office in order to provide direct support to people fleeing the Ukrainian war.
