BackOCC celebrates 10th anniversary: Statement from the Office of the Complaints Commissioner
Over this 3 day period, the Commissioner and OCC staff went to each of the 3 islands of the Cayman Islands, providing training to civil servants, making themselves available to hear potential complaints from members of the public, and held 2 receptions, of which the main one was held in Grand Cayman on the evening of 10 July. This event, which was attended by a number of dignitaries and prominent persons in public life including Her Excellency Governor Kilpatrick of the Cayman Islands, Complaints Commissioner (and former Deputy Governor) of the British Virgin Islands Elton Georges, and former Chief Secretary James Ryan, also launched both the first ever promotional film of the OCC and the most recent edition of the Small Claims Handbook.
