CHINA | Ombudsman Hong Kong announces results of three own-motion investigations

The Ombudsman of Hong Kong, China, Ms Winnie Chiu, held a press conference on 9 July 2020 to announce the results of three own-motion investigations.

The 2020/2021 first issue of OmbudsNews is published on 9 July. The issue covers the results of three direct investigations, namely:

• "Leisure and Cultural Services Department’s Allocation of Swimming Lanes in Public Swimming Pools and Its Monitoring Mechanism"
  
  
• “Leisure and Cultural Services Department’s Regulation of Public Coaching Activities at Public Swimming Pools” and
  
  
• “Utilisation of Low-charge Hospital Beds in Private Hospitals”.
