CHINA | Ombudsman Hong Kong reports on regularisation of illegal occupation of land

Ombudsman Connie Lau announces reports on “Lands Department’s system of regularisation of illegal occupation of Gov’t land and breach of lease conditions” and “Temporary closure of public swimming pools/beaches under LCSD due to shortage of lifeguards”.

The Office of The Ombudsman held a press conference on 13 September 2016 to announce the results of two direct investigation reports, namely “Lands Department’s system of regularisation of illegal occupation of Government land and breach of lease conditions” and “Temporary closure of public swimming pools/beaches under Leisure and Cultural Services Department due to shortage of lifeguards”.
