Ombudsman Aliyeva presented Annual Report 2021 in Parliament
On 4 March 2022, Ms. Sabina Aliyeva, Ombudsperson of Azerbaijan, spoke in the Parliament with the 2021 Annual Report on the protection of human rights in Azerbaijan.
During her speech in the Parliament, the Ombudsman drew attention to the situation with the protection of human rights and freedoms in Azerbaijan, the work done, the existing problems, activities in the postwar period, and the tasks ahead. Furthermore, in the 2021 Annual Report, the Ombudsman made a number of suggestions and recommendations to ensure more effective protection of human rights in the country.
The Ombudsman's 2021 Annual Report will be placed on the official website of the Institution for publication.
