BackThe Azerbaijani Ombudsman met with Mr. Menno Ettema, program manager, anti-discrimination department of CoE and Anca Sandescu, project manager, capacity building and co-operation projects unit, gender equality division of CoE at the Office of the Ombudsman. The aim of the meeting was to discuss the partnership for Good Governance.
During the meeting the Ombudsman gave general information about her in the field of elimination of discrimination and gender equality. The Ombudsman Office has active cooperation with CoE on different fields of Human Rights and the activities on elimination of discrimination and the promotion of gender equality takes important place in this cooperation.
The guests were also informed about Institution’s activities in the frames of east partnership program as well as about the joint twinning and TAIEX projects.
The Ombudsman also said that some results of the Institution’s activities were assessed by the International Organizations as good practices.
In the end of the meeting the guests thanked to the Ombudsman for the discussion and the recommendations in implementation of the partnership for good governance.
