Pakistan | Ombudsman Sindh helps retired government servant

A retired government employee approached the Provincial Ombudsman Sindh, Mr. Asad Ashraf Malik, with the complaint that Town Committee Naukot, District Mirpurkhas did not pay his outstanding commutation amounting to Rs.823,493/- despite sanction by the Local Fund Audit Department but the department was delaying the matter on one and other pretext.

To redress the grievance of the complainant, Ombudsman Malik issued directives to the authorities concerned to initiate enquiry in the matter. As a consequence of the Ombudsman’s timely intervention the scrutiny process was expedited by the agency and the entire outstanding commutation was paid to the retired government servant.

The complainant appreciated and thanked the Ombudsman Sindh for the prompt action in redressing his grievance.
