BackOmbudsman Sindh Mr. Asad Ashraf Malik has been elected unopposed as the new Regional President of the IOI`s Asian Region.
The IOI Secretary General Günther Kräuter, in his congratulatory message to Mr. Asad Ashraf Malik on behalf of the Board of Directors, welcomed his election to the position of the Regional President and expressed his desire to work closely with him for the promotion of ideals of the IOI.
Mr. Asad declared his resolve to serve the IOI in his new capacity to the best of his abilities and thanked all members for reposing confidence in him. It may be recalled that he was elected to the position of Regional President in recognition of his services and contribution earlier in his role as Vice President of the Asian Region for a term of two years. In his capacity as Regional Vice-President, Mr. Asad represented Pakistan’s and regional viewpoints convincingly and effectively on important issues at IOI forums.
