PAKISTAN/SINDH | Ombudsman Sindh orders education authorities to shift a school to its original location to avoid inconveniences for students

A complainant together with parents of students of a school in Sindh approached the Provincial Ombudsman, Mr. Asad Ashraf Malik, stating that the school was unjustifiably shifted to a three rooms’ building of a school at a distant place causing inconvenience to the girl students. The new premises had no proper facilities nor adequate space to accommodate 750 students.

Taking cognizance of the matter the Ombudsman issued directives the Education authorities for urgent enquiry and report which confirmed the facts. The Ombudsman ordered to shift the school back to its original location as the students were facing great hardship

In compliance to Ombudsman Orders, the education authorities immediate steps for shifting the said girls school to its original venue were taken and grievance of the residents resolved.
