BackOmbudswoman Luisa Cava de Llano received the collegiate of Thai Ombudsmen: Pramote Chotimongkol, Siracha Charoenpanij and Panit Nitithanprapas, accompanied by a delegation of members of their institution.
During the meeting in the office of the Ombudswomen, she explained the Spanish ombuds system and specifically the institution of the National Ombudsman in detail to them. Best practice models of interest to the visitors were also presented.
The meeting took place in the framework of a proposal of cooperation brought forward by the Thai institution which seeks first-hand knowledge about how the National Ombuds system and that of the Autonomous Communities works. Therefore, in addition to the visit at the office of the National Ombudswoman, they also visited the Ombudsman of Andalusia and had two more appointments scheduled: one with the 'Síndic de Greuges' of Catalonia and another at the Senate in Madrid.
