BackThe Danish Parliamentary Ombudsman, Mr. Jørgen Steen Sørensen, published the institution's Annual Report 2013. The report includes summaries on special cases that the Ombudsman office dealt with in 2013 as well as an assessment of the state of discussion with regard to a shift in norms in the Civil Service.
2013 also earmarked the first whole year of operations of the newly established Children's Divisions of the office that enables children and young people to lodge their complaints with the Ombudsman.
The Report furthermore includes an introduction into the new Access to Public Administration Files Act as well as into new concepts for monitoring activities.
Additionally to these comprehensive introductions, the Annual Report 2013 informs on the office's latest international activities, such as the just recently signed collaboration agreement with two central Chinese authorities.
