BackThe February Newsletter of the POA reports about the 10th National Investigations Symposium held in Sydney (Australia) in November 2014 and hosted by the Independent Commission Against Corruption, the New South Wales Ombudsman and the Institute of Public Administration Australia. The event takes place every two years and offers an opportunity for public sector investigators and complaint handlers to explore a broad range of topics presented by industry experts.
The Newsletter furthermore informs about an ongoing twinning project between the Commonwealth Ombudsman and the Ombudsman Commission of Papua New Guinea and reports about the outcome of the recent nominations of the POA Board, since the term of the POA Board expired in October 2014. A new Board was therefore nominated and endorsed by POA members (please see the full POA Network News below for more details).
