BackChris Field, President of the International Ombudsman Institute (IOI) and Western Australian Ombudsman, attended the annual conference of the Australasian and Pacific Ombudsman Region, in Wellington, New Zealand.
“Immediately following the celebration of the 60th anniversary of the Ombudsman of New Zealand, the Australasian and Pacific Ombudsman Region (APOR) of the IOI held its annual conference and meeting. As both President of the IOI, but also Western Australian Ombudsman, I was delighted to attend. It was a particular joy, following a number of virtual events, to spend time with my great friends and colleagues.I sincerely thank Deborah Glass, Victorian Ombudsman and Regional President, for her wonderful leadership of the event and the significant work of Chief Ombudsman Peter Boshier and his international staff team in ensuring our APOR conference and meeting was so successful” said President Field.
