NIGERIA | Public Complaints Commission gets a new Secretary to the Commission

The Honourable Chief Commissioner of the Public Complaints Commission, Hon. Abimbola Ayo-Yusuf, has appointed Mr. David I. Shagba mni as the new Secretary to the Commission.

He announced this on Wednesday during the valedictory ceremony of the outgoing Secretary to the Commission, Mr. Philip I. Enyali, who retired on Thursday on grounds of age. The Honourable Chief Commissioner appreciated the outgoing Secretary for his contribution to the Commission while in service and wished him well in his future endeavor.

In a goodwill message on behalf of other Commissioners, the Honourable Commissioner, Niger State office of the Commission, Bala Mohammed, congratulated the outgoing Secretary and wished him success in his future endeavors.

In his valedictory message, the outgoing Secretary to the Commission, Mr. Philip Enyali, thanked the Honourable Chief Commissioner for his support while he was in office and commended him for giving the Commission a better image. He also thanked the Management and Staff of the Commission for their unflinching support and cooperation. Mr. Enyali congratulated the Incoming Secretary for his appointment and urged him to continue the highlight of good work. The climax of the event was the Pen down Ceremony that saw the exit of the former Secretary to the Commission, Mr. Philip Ifeanyichikwu Enyali, and the entrance of the new Secretary to the Commission, Mr. David Iorkenger Shagba mni. Other highlights were Group Photographs and cutting of the valedictory cake.
