The Public Services Ombudsman for Wales published its quarterly Casebook and Code of Conduct Casebook.
The Public services Ombudsman published already the 24th issue of the quarterly Casebook (January – March 2016). The Casebook is a collection of summaries of cases dealt with in the previous quarter.
This month also sees the eighth edition of the Code of Conduct Casebook. In this edition, Nick Bennett looks back over the previous year including the introduction of the two-stage Public Interest Test for code of conduct complaints which allows the office to focus on the more serious complaints, and has played a significant part in the reduction of the number of code complaints taken forward to full investigation.
