From 21 – 25 October 2024, the Office will host its annual Complaint Handling Forum. The 5-part virtual forum will feature speakers from a variety of backgrounds, including a keynote address from the Commonwealth Ombudsman, Iain Anderson. Kindly note the changed dates compared to a previous newsletter article published on the event.
Practical sessions include:
- ‘Leading with impact, they serve like we lead’ - Monique Richardson
- ‘Taming the Trolls: Handling Online Unreasonable Complainant Conduct’ - Dr Annabel Chan
- ‘From tech to travel. How complaint agencies innovate to engage with the public’ - Panel discussion
- ‘Future impact: global megatrends and the future of complaints handling’ Dr Claire Naughtin, CSIRO Futures Thinking.
Each virtual session will be delivered in English between 12:00-1.30pm Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST).
Tickets are on sale through Eventbrite for $43.33 AUD per session or at the discounted rate of $159.22 AUD for all 5 sessions.
