IOI | Secretary General gives interview on occasion of upcoming 11th World Conference

In preparation for the 11^th IOI World Conference, which will be held in Bangkok from 14 – 19 November 2016, IOI Secretary General Günther Kräuter recently visited the conference host, the Office of the Ombudsman of Thailand.

Secretary General Kräuter took the opportunity of his visit to talk to several journalists about the upcoming World Conference and the IOI as such. He highlighted the IOI’s purpose and principles and spoke out in favor of the importance of creating independent institutions to protect and promote human rights.

The interview was published on 28 March 2016 in the print and online edition of “The Nation”, Thailand’s biggest English newspaper.
