IOI | Secretary General Kostelka signed MoU with International Anti-Corruption Academy

The IOI General Secretariat is pleased to announce that Secretary General Kostelka signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the International Anti-Corruption Academy (IACA) on behalf of the IOI today.

In its attempt to encourage professional development of its members through cooperation and training the IOI General Secretariat initiated cooperation with the International Anti-Corruption Agency. On 30 November 2012 IOI Secretary General Peter Kostelka paid a visit to the 1st State Conference of the International Anti-Corruption Academy (IACA) where he signed a Memorandum of Understanding for the purpose of jointly fostering the prevention against corruption and developing cooperation and training in the anti-corruption field. Martin Kreutner, Chair of the IACA Transition Team, signed on behalf of the Academy. 

The International Anti-Corruption Academy is an international organization located in Laxenburg, Austria, and was founded in a joint initiative by the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), the Republic of Austria, the European Anti-Fraud Office (OLAF) and other stakeholders. IACA currently has 61 members and numerous cooperation partners, such as the World Economic Forum or the World Bank Group. The organization offers training programs and a Master in Anti-Corruption Studies (MACS).
