On behalf of IOI Europe, the Ombudsman and Regional President Peter Tyndall issued a "Statement of Solidarity with France". In this statement, IOI Europe expressed its solidarity with the French Ombudsman office and the people of France following the appalling attack on the French publication, Charlie Hebdo. "This attack is an attack on democracy and freedom, values which IOI Europe cherishes and promotes", underlined Peter Tyndall.
With the deepest sympathies going out to the family, friends and colleagues of the victims of this attack, IOI Europe expressed its continued support.
