BackThe I.O.I. General Secretariat will be hosting a first training programme in Vienna from 14 to 17 November 2010. So far 40 staff members of ombudsman institutions coming from 17 countries and four I.O.I. world regions have confirmed their participation. The I.O.I. additionally funds five scholarships to institutions with limited financial resources.
This educational programme for staff members of ombudsman institutions is based on the format “Sharpening your Teeth” that was successfully established by Ontario Ombudsman André Marin in 2005. This specific I.O.I. edition will be held in English and offers a three-day training on systematic investigations. The I.O.I. offers this high-profile educational training to I.O.I. members in good standing free of charge.
