TAIWAN | The Control Yuan publishes Annual Report 2015

The Control Yuan (CY) recently published a report on its activity in 2015. This report provides details about the CY’s achievements in the past operational year. In total, the CY issued 216 investigation reports, with corrective measures carried out in 86 cases and impeachment in 13 cases; 31 government officials were impeached.

The report also presents seven investigation cases in 2015. The cases fall into three categories: reducing public expenditure, rectifying discipline and safeguarding human rights. The CY released this annual report in English and Spanish.
