BERMUDA | The Ombudsman for Bermuda releases its Annual Report 2022

In its Annual Report 2022, the Office of the Ombudsman for Bermuda reports on its efforts and progress during its 17th year in service. A total of 213 cases, of which 177 were complaints and 36 enquiries, were received during the year under review. In its report, the Office presents a selection of anonymised cases and gives an overview of its work in 2022.

The first section of the report on "Accessibility" describes how the public can reach the institution and its outreach activities.

The second section on "Our Work" reviews the complaint handling of the institution through summaries of cases and statistics to help show how the Office operates. It also highlights information the institution learns about public authorities and their processes as it carries out its work. 

The third section on "Best Practice" identifies useful resources on what good administration means and on recent activities undertaken by the institution to improve its case management practices and its outreach efforts to public authorities.
