CANADA | Veterans Ombudsman Review January 2013

The Office of the Veterans Ombudsman published a report on “Improving the New Veterans Charter”. It is a review of the financial, vocational rehabilitation and assistance, and family support programs.

A parliamentary committee review of the enhancements of the Canadian Forces Members and Veterans Re-establishment and Compensation Act, commonly known as the New Veterans Charter, is to be undertaken by October 2013.
