BackThis year, the Australian and New Zealand Ombudsman Association (ANZOA) celebrates its 20th anniversary. As such, the 2023 ‘Meeting of the Minds’ gathering of ANZOA’s Members was an opportunity for reflection on the evolution of Ombudsman in Australia and New Zealand and the challenges ahead.
Western Australian Ombudsman and IOI President, Chris Field PSM, was delighted to be asked by the outstanding Chair of ANZOA, Cynthia Gebert GAICD, to provide an address to this year’s event.
“I have been a member of ANZOA for sixteen years and I consider membership to be an essential component of my role as Western Australian Ombudsman. ANZOA has always been for me a source of warmth, friendship and support over many, many years. It is also a custodian and champion of the integrity of the Ombudsman institution. As IOI President, I extend my warmest wishes on ANZOA’s 20th anniversary,” said President Field.
