The Institute of Latin-American Ombudsman (ILO) invites you to attend the XII Assembly and Virtual Seminar on “Berta Cáceres – Human Rights and Transition: Ombudsman and their Contribution to the Future”, to be held from 2 – 4 December 2021 (Argentinian time). We count on your active participation.
The annual assembly of ILO is held pursuant to its by-laws and with a view to report on activities, elect officials and discuss topics, which are of interest to its members. For more than a decade, ILO has made its annual assembly coincide with a seminar, with the objective of jointly analyzing issues related to human rights.
This seminar is the second one to be held virtually and within the framework of the Covid-19 pandemic. The year 2021 has highlighted the social and economic impact of this pandemic. Against this background, ILO has decided to maintain its annual meeting and to continue evaluating not only the pandemic, but also the historic moment and the future perspective in relation to human rights and – in particular – the role Ombudsman institutions can play in this scenario.
To attend the virtual seminar, please CLICK HERE. The access code is 735045 and ILO is looking forward to your participation.
