The US Ombudsman Association (USOA) is currently planning its annual conference scheduled for October and seeks speakers interested in sharing their subject matter expertise relevant to the public sector ombudsman profession.
The Call for Speakers is open until 31st March. Presentations for the annual meeting should provide conference attendees educational offerings to improve the effectiveness and operations of their offices, both from a management and investigative perspective. Optimally, presentations should not only speak to technical issues but should also share experiences: “war stories,” case studies, successes and failures, and insights into emerging issues.
The 33rd Annual Conference will take place from 10th to 12th October 2012 in Spokane, Washington in the Red Lion Hotel at the Park. This year’s annual keynote speaker is Nina E. Olson, the National Taxpayer Advocate.
