IOI | Anti-Corruption training officially started

This morning, IOI Secretary General Günther Kräuter attended the official opening of this year's IOI Ombudsman Practice Training which is held by the International Anti-Corruption Academy (IACA) in Laxenburg, Vienna. IACA Dean Martin Kreutner gave the introductory session providing an overview of different forms of corruption, its origin and consequences.

 This time the IOI commissioned a new training format designed by the International Anti-Corruption Academy (IACA) directed specifically towards investigative ombudsman staff of institutions with an anti-corruption mandate.

32 participants from all over the world are currently attending the tailor-made program for Ombudsman staff. The three-day training course held in English covers topics such as complaint assessment, transparency, accountability and good governance in the public administration on a regional, national and international level.

This is the fourth training course which is held in Austria since the IOI General Secretariat moved to Vienna.
