Ms Victoria Pearman graduated in Law from the London School of Economics and was called to the Bermuda Bar in 1993. She established Juris Law Chambers in 1998 and within the firm has trained and mentored a number of well-known lawyers. She was appointed to the Senate in 2001, serving for a period as Junior Minister of Education. Her legal career has been mainly within the defence bar.

Ms Pearman will succeed Ms Arlene Brock, whose term of office will end on 31 January 2014.
