The Office of the Catalan Ombudsman published the September edition of its e-Newsletter.
Among other things, Ombudsman Ribó criticises the fact that the riot police uses rubber bullets as well as the delay of the authorities and the concerned institutions in approaching this issue and indemnifying the victims accordingly.
Also, the e-Newsletter informs about an ex-officio investigation on the supervision of children under guardianship, which has been initiated by the Catalan Ombudsman as a result of the arrest of a suspected child molester, who was a foster parent to children under guardianship.
