On 19 December 2014 Commissioner Man Chong FONG completed his five-year term as Commissioner Against Corruption of Macau. Mr Fong lead the Commission in both, the Anti-Corruption as well as the Ombudsman fields of action and was a very active member of the IOI Board of Directors from 2010 to 2012 and considerably contributed to the success of the IOI By-laws reform.
Mr Fong will be succeeded by Commissioner Weng Chon CHEONG, who assumed office on 20 December 2014. Commissioner Cheong was the Director of Registry and Assistant of Notary, Registrar of the Real Estate Registry, and Director of Judicial Affairs Bureau. He also acted as the Director of the Legal Affairs Bureau before he assumed his office as the Commissioner.
