COOK ISLANDS | Cook Islands Ombudsman celebrates 40th anniversary

The Cook Islands Ombudsman celebrated its 40^th anniversary on 26 September 2024. The Ombudsman hosted a celebration event at the Ombudsman Office to mark the occasion, and to recognise the service of previous Ombudsmen and their families.

Prime Minister Mark Brown, New Zealand Chief Ombudsman Peter Boshier, Tongan Ombudsman 'Alisi Taumoepeau, High Commissioners of New Zealand and Australia, and government ministers were among the distinguished guests.
