IOI World Conference | Deadline extended to Monday 2 July 2012

The 10th International Ombudsman Conference will be held in Wellington, New Zealand from 12 to 16 November 2012.

We would like to remind you that the early registration deadline for the 10th World Conference of the International Ombudsman is nearly here.  The deadline has been extended Monday 2nd July 2012.  Please note that the registration server will be down from Friday afternoon until Sunday afternoon (New Zealand time)  so you will not be able to register during this period.  To register please click here.

“The IOI World Conference is a forum for Ombudsmen or their equivalent from around the world to meet, to share their experience and expertise. Such an opportunity is particularly important at this time when challenges to the Ombudsman’s role – political, social, economic and technological - mean that we have to review the way we do our work and how we may best ensure procedural fairness and administrative justice for all citizens” states Beverley A. Wakem, CBE, President of the IOI and Chief Ombudsman of New Zealand.

Registration is now open and can easily be completed via the online registration form. Check out the Conference Website for first details on the conference programme and pre-conference workshops as well as general practical information on registration fees, hotel and venue, or sneak a preview on the biographies and abstracts of the speakers.
